An odd headline: Plans to open the Obama Presidential Center are advancing.
Recently, Valerie Jarrett, CEO of the Obama Foundation, told members of Chicago’s City Club that the foundation is recruiting 75 to 100 local volunteers to serve as ambassadors for public engagement.
Why is this so odd? Because The Obama Foundation — which will operate the 19.3-acre center on publicly owned Chicago parkland — paid CEO Jarrett more than any other major presidential foundation.
Federal tax filings show the Obama Foundation paid CEO Valerie Jarrett $740,000 in 2024. That make her one of the foundation’s 10 highest-paid executives who previously held senior roles in the Obama administration or campaign…
If that doesn’t beat all!!!
Hardly. Will you be shocked to learn that several other Obama White House officials were paid six-figure salaries as executives of the foundation???
Salaries and benefits rose from $18.5 million in 2018 to $43.7 million in 2024, and staffing expanded to 337 employees while annual revenue reached nearly $210 million. THE FOUNDATION NEEDS VOLUNTEERS???

I think those Democrats should give those 100 volunteers the Democrat minimum-wage salaries they advocated for…and stop this Democrat skim job!!!
